Sigi Vandewinkel obtained his MA in Germanic Languages (Dutch and English) at the University of Leuven in 2003. He also holds an MA in Advanced Studies in Linguistics (Interuniversity cooperation 2005). Since January 2008 he has been appointed as a researcher to the IAP project P6/44 Grammaticalization and (inter)subjectification under the supervision of Kristin Davidse.
